VICKI LOVELEE (禕祺愛李) is a Chinese Canadian alt-pop sensation based in Markham, Ontario. With a foundation in classical piano and a degree in jazz vocals, she blends her deep musical knowledge with a passion for pop — to create a unique genre she calls "dark pop ballerina music at the opera." Her sound is a dramatic fusion of dark pop and orchestral instrumentations, offering a cinematic experience to listeners.

Lovelee embodies an eccentric yet vulnerable persona, drawing inspiration from icons like Lady Gaga, Halsey, Melanie Martinez, MARINA, Mitski, Freddie Mercury, and Phantom of the Opera. Her music addresses themes of self-growth, acceptance, power struggle, mental health, religion, and heartbreak. "I'm a huge advocate for mental health awareness and believe in the acceptance of all cultures and identities," she says. Through her art, she transforms pain into powerful anthems, offering solace and empowerment to those who resonate with her message. An early fascination with skulls and the contrasting colors of black and pink — these visuals reflects her storytelling approach, which she expresses through music, art, fashion, and movement.

A graduate of York University's Music Program, Lovelee holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, underscoring her dedication to her craft. She further honed her skills through Canada's Music Incubator's Artist Entrepreneur Program, where she learned how to transform her passion into a thriving music career. As an independent artist, she has achieved over 100K streams on music platforms and performed at prominent events around Canada such as Breaking Sound Canada (Toronto), Jade Music Festival (Vancouver), York Pride (Newmarket) and Chinatown Festival Toronto. Her music has been featured on various media outlets worldwide such as CBC Radio and Exclaim! Lovelee has received notable grants from FACTOR and Ontario Arts Council, which proves she’s a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
