VICKI LOVELEE (η¦η₯Ίζζ) is a theatrical dark pop artist crafting a cinematic world where vulnerability and spectacle collide. Through dramatic storytelling, she creates music that feels as much like a stage production as it does a song. Blending the eccentricity of pop icons with the grandeur of musical theatre, Lovelee draws inspiration from artists like Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Melanie Martinez, Mitski, MARINA, Freddie Mercury, as well as the shadowy allure of Phantom of the Opera.
Equally influenced by other creative disciplines, Lovelee draws from the visionary work of Tim Burton and Alexander McQueen to shape a universe that is dark, whimsical, and unmistakably her own—what some have called “Phantom of the Popera.” Fascinated by skulls, death, and striking imagery since age 10, Lovelee contrasts darkness with a bright, bubbly personality. This duality shapes her work, extending her storytelling beyond music into fashion, visuals, and movement.
Born in Canada, Lovelee once felt disconnected from her Chinese heritage, but her journey as an artist has become a path back to it. Through her work, she encourages others to explore and embrace their own cultural identities, advocating for inclusivity, self love and mental health awareness.
As an independent artist, Lovelee has surpassed 150K streams and brought her theatrical performances to stages across Canada and internationally, including Jade Music Festival in Taiwan, Breaking Sound Canada (Toronto), Jade Music Festival (Vancouver), Taste of Asia (Markham), York Pride (Newmarket), Oshawa Music Week, and University of Toronto Scarborough Frosh Week. Her music has been featured on platforms including CBC Radio and Exclaim!, and has received support from FACTOR and the Ontario Arts Council. A graduate of York University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music and an alumna of Canada’s Music Incubator Artist Entrepreneur Program, Lovelee continues to evolve as both an artist and creative entrepreneur.
